Kindergarten Rocks!

I teach 25 kindergarteners! It is a blast! The children say the funniest things. You never know what they are going to say or do for that matter.

Elevate-Part Time Internship

Elevate is an internship through Healing Place Church that offers training in the areas of Ministry and Leadership. We meet once a week for class and serve together on various outreaches. Each class we have 2 hours of teaching on various subjects like communication, evangelism, serving, etc., then followed by 1 hour of Bible Study with an awesome teacher! We are currently reading about the prophets in the Old Testament.

It is an awesome opportunity to learn more about God and His Word. It is also a great way to serve the local community. If you would like more information visit the Healing Place Website at http://healingplacechurch.org/elevate.php.

Destination... Mission Trip: Cambodia

In the mid 1970s, the nation of Cambodia fell victim to one of the worst genocides in history led by a communist extremist group known as the Khmer Rouge. Under the leadership of a man named Pol Pot, the Khmer Rouge unleashed a horrific plot to gain control of this Southeast Asian country. The results were and still are unimaginable. Over 2 million people were killed. People of all ages and walks of life were driven from their homes, those who refused to leave were killed. Persons with education, along with their families were targeted because they were seen as a threat. Children were taken from their parents and forced to live in labor camps. Many people were told they were going to labor camps but instead blindfolded and led to step off the cliff sides. The way the people were murdered were horrific.

Our hope is to bring relief to the people of Cambodia. Healing Place Church is teaming with Joyce Meyers Ministries to bring the love of Jesus to these hurting people. Please pray for our safety and that God will use us to bring blessings to the people of Cambodia.
